BELL TOLLS
Bell Tolls follows the story of Ada, a woman having a supernatural experience alone in her cabin. Gradually, she is haunted by a man in a suit. The man is an omen whose presence disturbs her perception of the world. Ada begins communing with the man in one-sided conversations that interrupt her solitary life.
This film is inspired by research on magic ritual theory, as well as anthropologic interviews about vampiric lore. By using the occult as a framework, Bell Tolls explores the aura of time and place through the event of a supernatural haunting.
